Recently, Council Member Mary Lehman and I hosted an event to educate parents on the various phone apps our children frequently use to communicate. I am so thankful she recognized the importance of this issue and invited me to co-host this discussion.While mobile phones have made it easier for parents to communicate with their children, they've also made it easier for online predators to reach them. We need to be informed and able to ask our children what apps they use and for what purpose.
